Who wouldn’t want perfect, radiant and healthy skin? Apart from for a few lucky ones achieving a satisfactory skin is a challenge at any age for most of us. The moment you step into your teenage until you are old and wrinkly. :)(I actually like wrinkles, but that’s a topic for another day.)When I was a teenager I hadn’t even heard the term skin care wasn’t even coined probably. I relied on a cold cream my mom bought and that was that. Over the past decade or so I have been experimenting with this a little more than before. Okay A LOT more. 🙂 I have a few favourites and I still stand by those. You can check my post about winter skincare. I recently experimented SkinCeuticals and here’s what I have to say about it.
For the past couple of months though I tried SkinCeuticals a brand that had quite a hype last year. I must say I was pleasantly surprised! It started with a SkinCeuticals facial at a spa in Rotterdam. First of all amazing service and beautiful results from the facial. I bought the products the aesthetician used on me and have been using these for over a month now. I know one month can be a very short period to give a review. Nevertheless, the difference I notice in my skin is worth writing a post about. My skin feels more hydrated and plump, the skin texture is almost non-existent and the best thing is I actually can feel what radiant skin looks like (on me) in a long time. Since there’s not much difference in my routine I can say, some of the credit goes to the products I’ve been using.
Phyto corrective serum
This serum improves hydration and combats irritation in sensitive skin. I cannot recommend this enough. The fact that the bottle is already more than half empty reflects how much I like it. I am glad to not see rashes on my face. It feels calm and has saved me a lot of inflamed mornings.
Serum 10
This is one of the tarting products in their range of vitamin C products. When I’m talking about the brightness and radiance, it’s down to this serum. I have used vitamin C from other brands as well, however I see visible and lasting results from this one that I’ve not experienced yet. I 100% recommend this.
Emollience moisturiser
This is a good moisturiser. I’m not sure if I notice any visible difference specific to this product, it must be a combination of all three. I started using this in the middle of coldest months and I was looking for something thick enough to last the attack of chilli winds and it did the trick. I use it for morning and night and my skin doesn’t feel dry or affected by the weather at all.
All in all, I’d say SkinCeuticals products have been impressive and I am looking forward to try more. Until next week. Ciao!
